Our Mission

“Every Child Deserves the Power to Learn”

BrytePlay is on a mission to make quality, CAPS-aligned learning engaging and accessible for every South African child, whatever their background, home language or family budget.

Our Story

Education is the foundation of opportunity, yet many South African children face barriers: crowded classrooms, few books or devices, and learning in a language that isn't their own. BrytePlay was born from a passion to bridge this gap, blending technology, creativity, and interactive storytelling to give every child the chance to learn, explore, and thrive.

We believe learning should never feel like a chore. It should be playful, inspiring, and empowering. Through interactive games, age-appropriate challenges, and personalized guidance from our AI companion Nova, children develop skills, confidence, and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

Our Mission

“To empower the next generation of South Africans through play-based learning, merging technology, creativity and culture to make education engaging, inclusive and accessible for every child.”

💎 Our Core Values

Inclusivity

Learning for every South African child, in every community and every home language.

Creativity

Inspiring imagination and design thinking through narrative tasks.

Cultural Awareness

Proudly South African: our languages, our stories, our places.

Safety & Trust

Child-first and ad-free, with parents in control of their family's data.

🏆 Our Vision

A South Africa where every child shines through play, with the knowledge, creativity and confidence to succeed in school and in life.

Our Commitment

BrytePlay is a South African company based in Johannesburg. We are building CAPS-aligned learning games that work on the phones families already have, in the languages they speak at home, so that children in cities, towns and rural communities can all learn through play.

Work With Us

We're looking for pilot schools, partners and sponsors who want every child to learn through play.
